CE CERTIFICATES NO LONGER AVAILABLE EFFECTIVE JULY 27TH, 2021
Effective July 27th, 2021, our CE co-sponsor Commonwealth Educational Seminars has lost its APA co-sponsorship.
- If you downloaded your certificate prior to July 27th, 2021, your certificate is still a viable indication of CEs for the course.
- If you downloaded your certificate on or after July 27th, 2021, your certificate is null and void.
- If you have not downloaded your certificate for the course, you will no longer be able to obtain a certificate for CEs.
We realize that this is a big change, and CEs might be one of the main reasons you purchased our course. Here is what we are doing to remedy this for our courses and members:
- We are looking at new co-sponsors to provide CEs for this course in the near future. We cannot say how long this will take, only that we will notify you once we are approved and you can gain CEs.
- We are providing refunds to those affected by this change. To see if you are eligible for this refund, please check out our FAQ page or email support@therapywisdom.com.
If you would like to discuss this further, please email support@therapywisdom.com.
March 22nd, 2021 1pm – 3PM EST
For Beginning Level Mental Health Professionals
Please note that CEs are provided at no extra cost to participants and are only available for those who attend LIVE.
It is the participant’s responsibility to check if their state is approved for CEs through the link below. No refunds will be given on CE purchases for failure to check state approval.

We can help parents make sensible changes that feel natural, doable, organic, and enduring. There’s a therapeutic art to bringing parents to the point where they can begin to simplify and balance and still maintain regular family life.
In this Touchpoints live session, you’ll learn about
- Supporting your clients who have children in their care with a non-pathologizing model
- How to come alongside a parent and guide their instinct for change
- Leading parents to take small do-able steps
- Helping parents feel more balanced and centered
- The “Quirk Spectrum” and how to help parents guide children away from problematic or disruptive behaviors
- Working with children when their amygdala has been hijacked and we start to see behavioral issues and disorders begin to emerge
To hear a parent comment, “I feel like I have got my child back,” can often lead to a quiet voice inside a therapist that responds, “And that is why I do this work.”
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be better able to:
- Describe three or more effects of cumulative stress in the lives of a child
- Explain two or more issues around pathologizing and labeling a child
- Demonstrate one or more ways to treat a child and support the whole family system
If you for some reason you need to cancel, please contact support@therapywisdom.com. If you are purchasing the course after the live course, you have 4 days to request a refund.
